Anti-Spam Policy
Trust Me, Emily has a zero-tolerance policy for spam. We only send email to people who have asked to receive it, and we make leaving as easy as joining.
How we build our list
- Opt-in only. Every subscriber joined through a sign-up form on our own website. We never buy, rent, scrape or import third-party lists.
- Proof of consent. We record the date, time, page and IP address of each sign-up.
- Clear expectations. Our sign-up forms say what we send and how often.
What we send
A short newsletter — typically once a week — with our latest articles, guides and occasional partner offers, plus transactional emails such as a welcome message. Partner or affiliate content is always labelled.
Unsubscribing
Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal or contact details. You can also unsubscribe on our email preferences page. Requests take effect immediately and automatically; no confirmation or login is required.
Bounces & complaints
Addresses that hard-bounce are removed automatically. If you mark one of our emails as spam, your address is removed automatically via the complaint feedback loop, and we monitor bounce and complaint rates to keep them well below industry thresholds.
Sending infrastructure
Our email is authenticated with SPF, DKIM and DMARC and delivered through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES). We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR and similar laws worldwide.
If you believe you received unwanted email from us, forward it to info@trustmeemily.com and we will investigate within one business day.
